Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program (15 months)

You may be expected to complete 12 hour and/or weekend clinical rotations.

In addition to nursing courses, ABSN students will complete the following EMU core curriculum courses:

  • One 3 credit hour course focused on Intercultural learning.  May be met with a language course (may be transferred in) or CORE 300 Power, Systems, and Justice.
  • Transcripts will be evaluated for natural science/math, social behavioral science, and fine arts/humanities courses.  Most students will meet these requirements from their first degree.

Summer 2026

  • Orientation (required) – May 18
  • Classes begin – May 19
  • Summer semester ends – August 7
  • No classes on - May 25 and July 4
