  •  â€“ small museum whose goal is to look at “social issues impacting diverse populations of the DC metropolitan area to promote mutual understanding and strengthen community bonds.â€
    • Past students have worked with Smithsonian curators and researchers on exhibits pertaining to the history and culture of the Anacostia Neighborhood of Southeast DC.
  •  â€“ Smithsonian museum looking at the complex histories of the United States and collecting national artifacts.
  •  â€“ Smithsonian museum presenting portraits of people who have shaped American history and culture.
  • – located in a house built c. 1800, this historic building is now home to the National Woman’s Party (NWP) and the museum it houses tells the story and collects artifacts from the women’s suffrage movement in the US.
  • – highlights art created by women and  the roles these artists have played in shaping arts scenes across various time periods and cultures.
  • – aims to preserve and present the stories and cultural undertones of the city of DC through educational programs, exhibits, and publications.
  • – a library containing the largest collection of Shakespeare artifacts and manuscripts in the world. Interns can also work in the theatre.
