Saturday, October 10: Inauguration Day
8 a.m.-9:15 a.m | Arrival and Welcome Breakfast
Location: President's Reception Room, University Commons
Details: Enjoy a breakfast and networking with university leaders and other delegates, courtesy
of the EMU Board of Trustees.
9:15 a.m.-9:45 a.m. | Robing and Preparation
Location: Student Life Suite, University Commons
Details: Change into academic regalia and line up for procession into Investiture Ceremony.
10 a.m.-12 p.m. | Investiture of President Shannon W. Dycus
Location: Yoder Arena, Court A, University Commons
Details: The formal ceremony including the Presidential Address, musical selections, and the
Prayer of Blessing.
Academic Regalia
Delegates participating in the Investiture Ceremony will need to wear regalia.
Maps & Directions
From Mt. Clinton Pike: Turn onto Park Road toward campus. Follow Park Road to the intersection of Parkwood Drive. University Commons will be on the left at 1307 Park Road Harrisonburg VA 22802.
