I am currently in the very early days of running a pilot Arts and RJ reparation project. To date I have not found an aweful lot written about this, but perhaps I have not been looking in the right places!

Can anyone point me in the direction of other projects working with Restorative Justice using various art media?
And/or written material about using Art as a tool in restorative justice work.

Very grateful for any info or advice….
Thanks Alyson K

I remember thinking about the power of what this work could mean for healing of the victim, the community and the victim inside the offender. That is where I start; the healing of the person. I see the healing of relationship as a possible part of the steps to the healing of those who are hurt but it is not necessary.

The use of art in any form is, as Howard mentions, the ultimate expression. It communicates what our souls are trying to say, but our vocabulary is incapable of communicating. I might have to stop by Philly one of these days to take a look. Thanks Howard.
