We lived just two doors from our gracious RA, Luke, and I remember well my first environmental biology class with Clair Mellinger as a freshman with upperclassmen, including Luke. I still consider myself an ecologist at heart, planting my own kind of trees in medical education. I've enjoyed the work you've done, and wish you the best! Well-deserved!

Luke has long been a hero in my world, especially with his faith-filled care for creation. Before that he was also a remarkably congenial dormitory resident advisor, suffering the likes of me and many other rambunctious freshmen (Dave Kauffman, Randall Longenecker, Galen Horst, and too many other rogues to list here)!
