草莓社区 landed in two rankings reported by this month by . EMU ranked 299 out of 801 institutions nationally, rising 53 spots over its 2018 ranking. It was also ranked 66th out of 209 institutions in the South region.
The WSJ/THE methodology uses 15 individual performance metrics, grouped in four pillars: resources, engagement, outcomes and environment. Of all the pillars, outcomes is weighted the highest at 40 percent, emphasizing a return on investment from attending a school and the success of students after graduation. The indicators are selected to answer 鈥渜uestions that matter the most when choosing a university.鈥

In the 2020 rankings seasons, EMU also earned high marks from U.S. News and World Report among other regional universities in the South as a Best Value School, among the Top Performers on Social Mobility, and a ranking as a Least Debt Class of 2017 University.
Additionally, the Sierra Club listed EMU as a 鈥淐ool School鈥 for its dedication to sustainability and environmentalism.
