We’ll pleased that readers of all views and perspectives are interested in our work here at EMU. CJP Executive Director Daryl Byler offers the following response to your comment: Yes, the 2003 war was ill-advised, leading to the mass uprooting of Iraqis, including the emigration of up to 75 percent of the Christian community. If we care about the Christian community in Iraq, it is important to work at reducing the violence that is causing them to leave. These workshops are aimed at doing exactly that. These workshops include participants from a broad spectrum of religious persuasions, including Christians.

The church in Iraq was doing fine until George Bush did his ill advised invasion of that country. Now the country is overrun by devoted Islamists, severely persecuting believers in Christ there. EMU cares nothing about that, they are too busy pushing left wing agendas. People in Iraq need to turn from false religions like Islam which is anti Christ, and turn to Christ who is eternal life and only in Him is there salvation from sins.
