As someone who served for over 15 years on the board at Gould Farm, I can testify to the warm, genuine, generous nature of Wayne and Donna’s work at Gould Farm. It is not a simple place but one full of nuance, occasional tension, and hard work for every one – guest and staff alike…and that’s the key. Everyone is a member of this very real, very productive community. Wayne and Donna are a big piece of why this place, where lives are lived with intention. Congratulations to the Burkharts

As our son slowly makes progress, I am grateful everyday for the Burkharts and Gould Farm. A place where he feels safe and a sense of community, not loneliness. A place where the work he does gives him a sense of worth and fulfillment. When my husband, also a Mennonite, learned Donna was as well…he felt it was a sign from God. Congratulations to Donna and Wayne.
