Hi, Lois! It’s good to hear from you. Yes, I remember our “Park View Literary Society” or whatever we called it! If you ever get to Harrisonburg, I would love to take you to the cabin. We have made some changes in it.

I suspect my life will continue much as it has been after retirement. I probably will not work as many days in the library. I hope I live long enough to clean up my basement!

I was so interested to read the article about your life and years at EMU. Do you remember the book club you led when a few of us girls met at your cabin and read Dr. Zhivago? Hello Lois, I just read of your Retiement of 60 years of faithful service to the library.
You and Wade were always close to me, Ruth passed away four years age yesterday
and I am living with my daughter and on the 12th of September I will be 88 and still real good heath. Blessings Mark A Layman. .
